Stagecoach 2018

There's something nostalgic about country music that I love. I don't find the lyrics to be super inspiring or the artists to be extremely interesting, but I do love the feeling of a simple life that country music portrays. It also randomly reminds me of cleaning the house every Saturday growing up because we always played country, usually Garth Brooks or the Dixie Chicks...Stagecoach was a huge festival with all types of country fans, from rednecks to LA preppy boys/girls. It was crazy to see 70k people all extremely interested in this very specific type of music. The kind that is extremely unpopular in San Francisco.  It was also very refreshing to see so much patriotism. Regardless of our current state of politics, I do believe every US citizen should feel at least a fraction of the patriotism that I witnessed this weekend. With so many people, I do wonder if it's really worth it to pay so much to see the performances when the artists are so far away you're just looking at the big screens the entire time anyways. Regardless, the energy and people watching was amazing, and I got to see the legend Garth Brooks perform.  Some other highlights included Jake Owen, Keith Urban and Lee Brice.
